In business, you want to wear colors that make you feel confident, and confidence-building colors are those that make you look and feel your best. For that reason, I recommend wearing your Signature Colors-those that repeat, contrast, and/or enhance your personal coloring. In order to do that you must understand your personal Colortime.
Take a look at this Estee Lauder ad with its three wonderful examples of Colortime colorings, Sunset, Sunlight and Sunrise.
Based on these examples the Sunset’s Signature Colors (woman on the left) would be golden tawny tones like Camel or Cognac. A coral pink necklace will brighten your skin and add a great accent.
A sand-colored suit and a blue-green shirt to show off your eyes are Signature Colors for the Sunlight’s (woman in the middle). Add a touch of dusty rose to complement the skin and capitalize on your own coloring.
If you are a Sunrise Colortime your best Signature Colors are a Frost Gray suit with a Bonnie Blue shirt.
Experts tell us about the four-minute time barrier, a period during which initial human contact is established. If the initial reaction is negative, the eye and the mind start to wander elsewhere.
You never have another chance to make a first impression.

Happy belated birthday! We will miss you in the class but hope to see you in July!
Thanks for showing that wonderful advert. This has helped me a lot to understand my coloring and will definitely be sending for your book. I think I am the Sunrise woman, dark hair with a few auburn highlights, grey/yellow mix eyes (which read as green) and skin with slight yellow ivory overtone but cool mauve undertones. Some systems seem to have got into about 16 or more color groups now and far too complicated for me!
I bought this book but can’t find my colour time. I have neutral medium
Beige skin tones at 49 that once were honey beige. My deep brown eyes are now muted green browns and my dark ash brown hair is now ashen with silver. Hairdressers want to warm
Me up but warm colours don’t inspire me a bit. I’ve been typed toned winter, cool winter, toned autumn, and none of those colours do I love. I decorate with sunrise colours and used to wear them till I was told I’m warm. Now my wardrobe is dirty, dusty, drab and uninspiring – I don’t care to get dressed in any of the colours they say suit me. -apparently my natural hair is too molasses for my age. Why did I always love sunrise, wear them, decorate with them now they’re too cool? I don’t have fair skin, I’m a dusky brunette but I’m not an autumn. I don’t fit there in heart. So where does a woman go who darker and darker hair as she had children and her honey skin went neutral but sunlight colours are just too fair? In summer I go white bronze and tawny but in winter I’m just a neutral Medium brunette with level 2 deep natural which was once level 3-4
