We want to share with you a wonderful book written by a colleague and former student, Kim Newton Arispe and beautifully photographed by Bobby Arispe. It is called, “Liberal Libations.” The book is so well done with some amazing cocktail imagery and recipes. The cocktail called, Obvious Friend, in Kim’s own words “although this cocktail contains only one ingredient – making it the easiest recipe in the book – it is still packed full of flavor. The sugar and acid from the pineapple juice mellows out the vodka leaving you with a naturally sweet martini that goes down very smooth.”

My mouth is watering while I am writing this description!

To help our creative juices and now with so much time spent at home, it is the perfect opportunity to experiment with Kim’s colorful and delicious recipes. The book includes many interesting recipe tips and even gives conversions for batch sizes as well.

Included  are some beautiful cocktails to inspire and a recipe from this terrific book.
